A Shirodhara pot (oil dispenser) is traditionally used by skilled professionals in the Ayurvedic therapy of shirodhara that involves gently pouring liquids on to the third eye. The name Shirodhara comes from the Sanskrit words shiro (head) and dhara (flow).

Traditionally in Ayurveda, Bala Massage Oil is the preferred oil to use for Shirodhara treatments.
